Job Summary
Maintenance Technician / Painter role responsible for a wide range of maintenance, repair, and painting duties to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance in a senior living/healthcare environment. Independently perform basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, interior and exterior painting projects, diagnose routine issues, complete preventative maintenance, assist with renovations, support groundskeeping as needed, respond to work orders promptly, report safety concerns, maintain organized spaces, and ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, and infection control standards. Requires high school diploma, 1–3 years of related experience, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and strong tool proficiency. Customer-service orientation and ability to interact professionally with residents and staff are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, painting, construction, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and repair techniques
- Experience with commercial or residential painting preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete projects with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
