Maintenance Technician- Overnight Sunday-Wednesday

Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining all building systems and the building envelope to ensure guest safety and product quality. Performs preventative maintenance and completes work orders (e.g., replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl). Conducts routine checks of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and related hotel equipment; assists with major repairs as needed. Maintains hotel exterior and curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening); refurbishes furniture and fixtures in guest rooms; moves furniture; responds to guest questions and requests with courtesy; operates heavy machinery when required. Ensures compliance with applicable codes and preventative maintenance programs; focuses on energy efficiency and cost savings. Requires ability to read and follow instructions, effective verbal and written communication, and adaptability to different audiences. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Shift pattern: approximately 32 hours per week across four overnight shifts (Sunday-Wednesday). Qualifications and Skills: Vocational training or certification in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry; hotel experience preferred; ability to lift 25-50 lbs; good communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
