Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair, then troubleshoot issues to determine necessary fixes. Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals, and perform general repairs such as drywall, painting, and fixture restoration. Conduct routine maintenance on building systems, clean facilities, and assist with upkeep. Advise the director on supplies and materials needed for repairs. Perform other duties as assigned. On-the-job training offered; healthcare experience preferred. Requires ability to follow instructions, use hand and power tools, and manage time effectively. Physically able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
- Knowledge of general repairs
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare experience preferred
