Job Summary
Conduct overall maintenance of the apartment community by evaluating, prioritizing, and resolving work orders according to quality standards. Execute plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, shut offs, sink replacements, and faucet installations. Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC systems, appliances, and electrical repairs including switches, outlets, and light fixtures. Perform carpentry work for door replacements, drywall, trim, and tile surround repairs. Monitor inventory of commonly used parts and shovel snow or clear ice during winter seasons. EPA certification is required, with additional training provided if needed within 120 days. Previous multi-family property maintenance experience and HVAC knowledge are preferred. Join the on-site operations team to support a positive experience for residents.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-family property maintenance
- Knowledge of maintenance safety guidelines and procedures, and OSHA regulations (including state-specific)
- HVAC experience
- CPO Certification
- Pool chemistry and maintenance skills
- Ability to shovel snow and/or clear ice from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas during snow season
- Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs
