Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role responsible for the upkeep of school facilities and grounds under the National Facilities Director. Proactively maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime; handle data entry for maintenance requests; assess issues and determine if outside vendors are needed; coordinate with vendors to ensure projects meet building-leader expectations; inspect facilities and grounds regularly; collaborate with school site staff to address maintenance concerns. Tasks include trash removal, landscaping, lighting, plumbing fixtures, fire suppression, elevator, roofing, windows/doors, HVAC maintenance, low voltage cabling, and general repairs. Requires willingness to travel between locations, proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), ability to perform basic repairs, and compliance with the Code of Conduct and faith-life involvement in the scholar community.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of work experience in building maintenance at commercial facilities
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
- Ability to complete basic repairs and to know when a project requires expertise
- Meet all physical demands of the position
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
