Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool systems to ensure the hotel meets brand quality standards. Prioritize and complete work orders from guests and staff while maintaining a clean, organized maintenance room and property exterior. Respond promptly to guest repair requests, communicate with front office and housekeeping to resolve issues, and strictly follow safety protocols during emergencies. Perform daily end-of-day reporting via email and facility management software, manage inventory, and assist with renovations within budget. Work any shift, including weekends and holidays, to support the opening team at this new TownePlace Suites in December 2025.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or related vocational training
- At least 1 year maintenance experience
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must speak fluent English
- In depth knowledge of HVAC / PTAC units, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry (tile, carpet, sheet rock, etc.)
- CPO certification – if the hotel has a pool, a Certified Pool Operator license
Desired Qualifications
- Other languages such as Spanish
- CPO certification – if the hotel has a pool, a Certified Pool Operator license would be ideal
