Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Opal Foods Roggen Processing Plant is responsible for preventive and urgent maintenance of production machinery, diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and adjusting equipment, and assisting the Maintenance Lead. The role requires using hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment; identifying root causes and implementing error-proofing to minimize downtime; ensuring safety, SQF/GMP compliance, and clean work areas; and meeting plant KPI targets.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Willing to work off schedule shifts and/or days when necessary
- Prior experience troubleshooting equipment, performing preventive maintenance and repairing industrial processing equipment
