Maintenance Technician (On-Site)

Job Summary
Maintain the overall appearance of the community and ensure resident safety by responding to residential service requests in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building exteriors. Prepare apartment homes for rent through various repairs while collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor to develop standards that enhance customer satisfaction. Work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours, utilizing troubleshooting skills to address a wide variety of issues. This on-site role at GCI's Cobblestone Court community includes a free two-bedroom suite and paid CFC certification training.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years in multifamily apartment maintenance
- Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors and appliances
- Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships
- Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization when accomplishing tasks
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call hours
- Able to live on-site
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- EPA certification (or willingness to obtain) and substantial experience in making HVAC related repairs
