Job Summary
Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and tire repairs on rental vehicles per manufacturer specifications. Execute preventive maintenance including oil changes and tire rotations while maintaining a safe, clean work area. Ensure all repairs meet company standards to minimize out-of-service units and provide reliable vehicles upon completion. This union position at Enterprise Mobility's Service Center in Bedford Park, IL, requires evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Candidates must have one year of basic vehicle maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and live within 30 minutes of Midway Airport.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in basic vehicle maintenance including oil changes and tire replacements
- Must be able to work outside in a covered area with exposure to all types of weather and temperatures
- Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 25 pounds with long periods of time standing and walking
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Must be available for flexible work hours including weekends
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test
- Must have 12 consecutive months of work/organizational experience
- Must live within 30 minutes of Midway Airport
