Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for Cathedral Towers apartment community in downtown Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities include performing routine building maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and cleaning; conducting apartment turnovers (cleaning, painting, carpet shampooing) per supervisor directions; ensuring resident satisfaction and adherence to safety and operational standards; potential after-hours emergency availability; strong emphasis on customer service, multi-tasking, and safe use of hand tools and power tools; proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and teamwork within on-site staff and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Prior maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to safely use various hand tools and power tools
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents)
