Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment across mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Tasks include troubleshooting and diagnosing automated equipment, adjusting/replacing electrical sensors, performing preventive maintenance and changeovers, operating metalworking tools, handling spill responses and pest control, and reading/interpreting manuals, drawings, and schematics. Requires knowledge of pneumatics, PLCs, basic electrical systems, and machine operation; welding and machinery experience are a plus. Certifications for forklift and scissor lifts are required. Education/experience acceptance includes an Associate’s degree or equivalent with 2 years PLC equipment repair experience or a high school diploma with 6 years PLC repair experience; 3-5 years in manufacturing. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two year Technical school w/ 2 years’ experience repairing PLC controlled equipment OR a minimum of a HSD and 6 years’ experience repairing PLC controlled equipment
- 3-5 years’ manufacturing industry experience required
- Forklift and scissor lift certifications required
