Job Summary
Conduct maintenance of the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, including individual resident units, in accordance with established safety standards. Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs while assisting with apartment turnovers such as painting, carpet cleaning, and pressure washing. Maintain grounds including pools and spas if applicable. Operate MS Office programs and communicate effectively with staff, residents, and healthcare professionals. Requires at least 18 years of age, high school diploma, and six months of building industry experience. Sunday to Thursday schedule with $22.50 hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be able to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters
- Knowledge of building construction is helpful
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
