Job Summary
Conduct maintenance of the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, including individual resident units, while performing apartment turnovers such as painting, carpet cleaning, and pressure washing. Maintain grounds including pool and spa areas if applicable. Operate basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests. Work Sunday through Thursday at Oakmont of Concord, a premier senior living community.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be able to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters
- Knowledge of building construction is helpful
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
