Job Summary
Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on a range of advanced manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, EDM tools, and coating systems. Diagnose faults and implement repairs to minimise downtime; support TPM initiatives to improve equipment performance; work from technical drawings, manuals and engineering instructions to ensure accurate maintenance; contribute to a safe working environment through risk assessments and adherence to safety standards; collaborate with engineers, production teams, and external contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2/3 in engineering, electrical, or maintenance
Desired Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2/3 in engineering, electrical, or maintenance
- Experience maintaining manufacturing or production equipment
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks
- Awareness of health & safety practices and procedures
- Proactive, hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail
