Job Summary
Complete maintenance service requests and work orders covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping items. Perform apartment turnovers for scheduled move-ins while maintaining high standards of professionalism with residents, vendors, and guests. Handle after-hours emergency calls and adhere to an on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays. Possess prior experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting. Bring strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff. Own necessary hand tools for job functions and be prepared to travel to other properties or attend training as needed. Work inside and outside in all weather conditions while meeting physical requirements for lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors
- Own hand tools to carry out job functions
- Must be able to work nights, weekend, and holiday shifts as part of the on-call responsibility
- Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and climb, bend, and squat
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to operate a golf cart on the property
