Job Summary
Collaborate with the Property Manager and Director of Maintenance to ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks for the property. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions, including overseeing repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and physical facilities. Utilize CMMS for tracking work orders and inventory, fabricate parts as needed, and troubleshoot electrical issues using Ohmmeters and Voltmeters. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean working environment. Complete all tasks associated with making units ready for new tenants. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Property Manager and contributes to the maintenance operation for an affordable multifamily apartment community managed by ComCap Management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of logic controllers
- Strong knowledge of general building maintenance practices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to fabricate parts or components as necessary for repairs or improvements
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally at a large apartment community
- Familiarity with RealPage OneSite software or similar tools for effective management of maintenance tasks
