Job Summary
Execute repair, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers on production equipment, including glycol, RO, compressed air, and chemical distribution systems. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic malfunctions while adhering to GMPs, food safety standards, and required PPE. Document work orders, retrieve approvals, and communicate maintenance status to production and relieving shifts. Obtain and maintain forklift certification to operate safely in the warehouse. Collaborate with adjacent teams to resolve issues rapidly, minimize downtime, and assist in training other maintenance personnel. Work the 2nd or 3rd shift with a $2500 sign-on bonus available for third-party recruited candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of GMPs
- Understanding of Food Safety Requirements
- Must be able to read, understand, and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals
- Work without supervision
- Good decision making/problem solving skills
- Must obtain and maintain forklift certification
