Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance of beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Key responsibilities involve troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, adhering to health and safety policies, and supporting food quality and safety standards. Essential competencies include problem solving, effective communication, and the ability to train other maintenance personnel. Candidates must possess a high school degree, knowledge of GMPs, and demonstrate the capability to work autonomously.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of GMPs
- Understanding of Food Safety Requirements
- Ability to read, understand, and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals
- Must obtain and maintain forklift certification
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years previous maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred
