Job Summary
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, and troubleshoot systems to minimize downtime at our St. Elmo, Illinois manufacturing facility. Fabricate parts as needed, operate shop equipment, and support repairs on power transmission and fluid handling systems while training operators on safety procedures. Maintain and repair components including belts, chains, pumps, and valves, and assist with equipment installation and modification. Work a 12-hour night shift on a rotating 3-2-2 schedule as part of the Conagra Brands team supporting iconic brands like Mrs. Butterworth's and Log Cabin.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to 12 hour night shift on a rotating 3-2-2 schedule
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience with advanced electronic controls including variable frequency drives, start and stop systems, starters, and contactors, proximity switches, resistance temperature detectors, and pressure transmitters
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience troubleshooting single-phase and three-phase motors
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems
