Job Summary
Maintenance Technician (night shift) responsible for updating and monitoring the preventative maintenance program, troubleshooting plant equipment, performing repairs, ordering parts, and supporting dairy processing and CIP/CIP-related systems. Requires proficiency with HTST systems, ARC and TIG welding, volt/ohm meters, PLCs, VFDs, motor and gearbox nameplates, pipe fitting and sanitary welding, and basic electrical/control diagnostics. Role emphasizes CI mindset, adherence to GMP/Food Safety, and operation within a dairy facility (Turlock, CA).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement
- High degree of mechanical aptitude
