Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Job Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and warehouse equipment, including HVAC systems, air compressors, dock doors, conveyor systems, and production machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility-related issues while responding to emergency requests to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections, replace components, read blueprints and schematics, and utilize CMMS systems to document work orders. Maintain inventory, coordinate with vendors, and adhere to strict OSHA and lockout/tagout safety procedures. Assist with facility improvement initiatives and support warehouse operations as needed. This role supports production uptime across Panelmatic's manufacturing campus in Youngstown, OH, where custom electrical control panels are designed and built for global clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in manufacturing and warehouse environments with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and moving machinery
- Ability to work flexible hours or overtime when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school, trade certification, or maintenance experience
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Forklift and scissor lift experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Preventive maintenance planning
