Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Job Summary
Carry out electrical and mechanical planned maintenance across the site in an accurate, timely, and safe manner. React to MHE breakdowns by troubleshooting faults, analyzing issues, and completing repairs to minimize operation downtime. Perform assembly and subassembly repairs following written instructions, blueprints, and schematics. Update accurate records for work activities, tasks, and parts used. Execute daily housekeeping and cleaning duties for equipment. Collaborate with other technicians to diagnose equipment failures and increase machine reliability. Complete quality inspections to ensure work meets safety standards. Monitor the status of robots and the physical grid. Follow all Health and Safety guidance. Report directly to the Engineering Team Manager assigned to your shift.
Required Qualifications
- College degree, trade school, or advanced training in Maintenance
- Experience in the execution of electrical or mechanical maintenance, including planned predictive and preventive maintenance
- Experience in the diagnosis and documentation of equipment breakdowns, problem solving, and repair management
- Ability to work at heights
- Flexibility to work according to a shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to climb up and down ladders and stairs
- Ability to move between work sites to accomplish tasks in confined and restricted spaces
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for a prolonged period
- Ability to adjust or move objects weighing up to 30 lbs in all directions
- Ability to move objects weighing up to 100 lbs or more
- Ability to communicate with others to exchange information
Desired Qualifications
- Some technical ability and understanding relating to automation hardware and software
- Knowledge of control systems
