Maintenance Technician - Night Shift (6:45PM - 7:00AM) - $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Job Summary

Install, service, and repair mechanical equipment throughout the plant while troubleshooting AC/DC motors, PLCs, and electrical circuits. Size and install electrical equipment per the National Electric Code, read schematics, and conduct preventive maintenance with work order documentation. Operate forklifts and scissor lifts, maintain 6S housekeeping standards, and identify quality issues. Work 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM–7:00 AM) with mandatory overtime including Sundays. Requires high school diploma, 2+ years experience, and ability to lift 55 pounds. Join a team approach to manufacturing at Teknor Apex's U.S. plant.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to operate a forklift or other lift equipment as required
  • Driver's license required if operating company vehicle/truck
  • Ability to read, write and interpret documents
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times throughout the shift
  • Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds multiple times throughout shift
  • Must be able to wear required safety equipment
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to work at Teknor Apex
  • Night Shift 6:45pm - 7:00am
  • Seven (7) workdays Every two Weeks
  • Twelve (12) hour shifts
  • Built in overtime includes Sundays and all hours worked over 40 in each week
  • There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business
  • Timely and Regular attendance
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree degree in Mechatronics or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and general knowledge of facilities equipment
