Maintenance Technician- Night Shift 5pm-5am

Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment by following diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, repair or replace malfunctioning components, and adjust machinery to optimal specs using precision tools. Verify repairs, control downtime by informing production staff, and maintain equipment inventories by checking stock and expediting orders. Document actions in the CMMS, communicate cross-shift needs, and prepare maintenance reports. Ensure a safe, clean working environment while performing other assigned duties. This role supports Whitmore Manufacturing's global mission to deliver reliable industrial solutions from the Rockwall, Texas facility.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand repair manuals, electrical schematics, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams with proficiency
- Familiarity in using a maintenance CMMS
- Some computer keyboarding skills
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance operations
- Industrial automation controls with electrical troubleshooting experience, including working with three-phase motors and 480V systems
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanic skills, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair
- Basic knowledge of gear pumps, gear reducers, AC motors, and preventive maintenance
- Ability to use precision tools such as calipers and micrometers
- General welding ability. (MIG, ARC, TIG)
