Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role focused on completing work orders and performing repairs across the property, including painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical; responsible for janitorial duties, apartment turnovers, grounds maintenance, and on-call emergencies; coordinates with the Property Manager, maintains inventory, monitors budgets, and supports vendor oversight for landscape and maintenance issues; requires collaboration with the site team, adherence to mission/values, and English literacy for documenting work orders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in skilled apartment maintenance work required
- Onsite housing is provided and required as part of this role
- Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions in the English language
- Work in a collaborative manner as part of the site team
- Flexible to change work schedules
- Understand and commit to the mission and values of Mutual Housing
- Wear a Mutual Housing Management uniform at all times when on duty
- Learn how to input maintenance work orders and other information into computer programs
