Job Summary
Complete apartment work orders and turnovers, performing general carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, minor HVAC, and electrical work. Maintain communal areas and pools, execute preventative maintenance, and manage inventory while delivering supplies. Handle power washing and snow removal as needed, responding to after-hours and on-call emergencies on a rotation basis. Obtain HVAC and CPO certifications within the first six months. Join a service team at a class A multifamily property where we invest in associate development and promote from within.
Required Qualifications
- Obtain HVAC and CPO Certification required or willing to obtain within first 6 months of employment.
- Availability to take after-hours and on-call emergencies (rotation basis).
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, taking stairs on occasion, and traverse the property and facilities to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
- Physical ability and dexterity to handle tools and machinery skillfully.
- Endurance to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects, and operating tools and equipment.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
- Training and /or experience working with HVAC, plumbing or electrical preferred.
- 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
