Maintenance Technician - Multiple Senior Living Communities

Job Summary
Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across four assisted living communities in the eastern Twin Cities Metro. Troubleshoot and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, water softeners, and kitchen appliances. Complete general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and fixture replacement. Conduct building and grounds inspections to identify safety issues, respond promptly to maintenance requests, and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs. Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed and materials used while interacting respectfully with residents, families, and staff. This regional role requires a valid driver's license and experience with multi-site environments to support our mission of creating safe, functional living spaces for seniors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in building, apartment, or residential maintenance
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple locations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Compassion and patience when working with older adults
- Must meet Minnesota Department of Health requirements for working with vulnerable adults
