Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for Multifamily at Madison Yards. Responsible for preparing make-ready apartments (painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, and related tasks) to ensure quality move-in experiences, responding to resident service requests, and upholding superior customer service. Requires knowledge of maintenance functions (plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, carpentry), grounds and amenity upkeep (pools/hot tubs, common areas, dog park), and on-call availability for after-hours emergencies. Maintains safety procedures, adheres to fair housing laws, and reports maintenance concerns to the supervisor. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, operate standard office equipment, and wear Cushman & Wakefield uniform as required. Regular on-site attendance and ability to travel between properties may be required. Compensation range is $20.40-$24.00 per hour, with benefits and equal opportunity employment commitments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- 1+ years of related experience
- EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate
- Ability to read/understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Demonstrated physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
