Job Summary
Prepare make-ready apartments through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs to ensure quality move-in experiences. Respond to resident requests promptly while maintaining grounds, pools, and common areas to keep properties safe and operational. Execute scheduled maintenance tasks for plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, reporting concerns to the supervisor and adhering to fair housing laws. Work on-call schedules for after-hours emergencies and travel between properties in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate
- Ability to read/ understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature
- Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Follow all safety procedures
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- 1+ years of related experience
- Knowledgeable state, local, and federal fair housing laws
- Must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools
- Must be able to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 100 pounds frequently, and/or up to 100 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time
- Must be able to dress per Cushman and Wakefield uniform and professional appearance standards
- Must be able to achieve high productivity through reliable and punctual on-site attendance
