Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preparing make-ready apartments and delivering quality move-in experiences at Westminster Apartments, including painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, cleaning, and general repairs; maintains grounds, pools, and common areas; responds to resident service requests, on-call emergencies, and upholds safety and fair housing standards; requires EPA 608 Type II and CPO or local certificate, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel between properties; on-site role with uniform appearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to read/understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature
- Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals
- Travel between properties
- Work environment requires travel between properties
- Stand and walk for extended periods
