Job Summary
Respond to service requests promptly and ensure vacant units are prepared for occupancy through painting, carpentry, and general repairs. Oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and painting requirements while maintaining accuracy in the work order system. Perform wall and ceiling patching, caulk cracks, and texture repairs. Operate rotating on-call responsibilities for after-hours and weekend emergencies. Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing laws. Maintain a friendly rapport with residents while managing shifting priorities and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in residential, commercial, or mechanical maintenance
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues relating to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances
- The ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly, climb stairs, use ladders and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills, can easily conform to shifting priorities and timelines
- Valid U.S. driver's license
