Maintenance Technician (MT1)

Job Summary
Perform residential service repairs, maintain property grounds, and complete work orders within 48-hour service levels. Diagnose issues, test components, and make adjustments until problems are resolved while monitoring contractor performance. Prioritize tasks to ensure units are make-ready within five business days, conduct inspections to generate work scopes, and execute preventative maintenance with updated logs. Manage inventory, order supplies, and consult with clients to explain approaches and provide cost estimates. Perform winter snow removal and summer water flower maintenance as needed. Check safety equipment is current and in stock. Works in collaboration with the leasing team to develop marketing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a computer with an internet connection
- Reliable transportation
- Cell phone with camera for property inspections and video conferencing
- Must be able to crawl and work in cramped spaces, climb, bend, stretch, stand, and traverse all areas of the building
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time
- Successful completion of a background check is required for this position
- Bonded or insured and licensed, as required by the state
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Apartment leasing: 1 year (Preferred)
