Maintenance Technician

Assist in the maintenance of day-to-day operations and the physical quality of the property under the direction of the Property/Operations Manager. Responsible for completing maintenance service requests, completing make-ready process of vacant apartments, maintaining building systems, coordinating with outside contractors, providing 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage, and performing grounds work. Maintain inventory controls, monitor work within budget, schedule and complete Preventative Maintenance, and alert Property Manager to any unusual occurrences. Maintain professional interactions with residents, vendors, contractors, and staff; ensure ethical, fair, and consistent work practices. Includes on-call responsibilities, payroll time sheets submission, and supporting special projects as assigned.
