Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for upkeep and repair of plant mechanical and electrical equipment across multiple facilities, including motors, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, piping and instrumentation, and diagnostic work using PLC interfaces. Performs preventive maintenance, participates in electrical upgrade projects, calibrates plant instruments (pH probes, conductivity probes, temperature sensors, flow meters, transmitters, etc.), and documents work in CMMS. Requires PLC logic and electrical diagrams proficiency, forklift operation certification, ability to work with various hand and power tools, and the ability to handle occasional extended hours. Education/experience aligned with a degree in Industrial Maintenance or an equivalent apprenticeship/3-5 years in industrial maintenance. Strong emphasis on safety, environmental, quality, and legal compliance; ability to read basic technical documentation and communicate progress via software tools.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance, related field, or applicable apprenticeship program required. In place of degree, equivalent work experience is acceptable with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in field.
