Job Summary

Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift (3:45 pm–12:15 am) performing routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; executing preventive maintenance; reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints; installing, calibrating, and adjusting mechanical and electrical components; assisting with equipment upgrades and installations; maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history; collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve reliability; and participating in the Wisconsin Apprenticeship Program. The role requires adherence to OSHA and company policies, and involvement in an On-Call program. The position is not sponsorship-eligible.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
  • Knowledge of mechanical repair concepts and methods
  • Basic welding skills and knowledge of electrical wiring, HVAC, and plumbing, with willingness to gain additional knowledge both on-the-job and in classroom instruction
  • Possess strong planning, leadership, and communication skills
  • Strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to use all hand tools, air wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, staple guns, etc. on a repetitive basis, as well as having the ability to use basic measuring tools and read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, climb, and reach – typically eight hours per day with overtime as required
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance tasks
  • Participate in “On-Call” program with maintenance co-workers
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical/electrical technology, or related field preferred
