Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring reliable operation of cultivation facilities by performing scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and necessary repairs in a fast-paced, highly regulated medical-grade horticultural environment. Roles include basic plumbing and electrical repairs, mechanical tasks, installing/maintaining fixtures and equipment, calibrating and testing machinery, fabricating metal structures, operating heavy equipment with required training, completing maintenance reports, maintaining inventory, and training other production workers on routine maintenance and machine safety. Must comply with HR policies, wear PPE, and pass drug screening and background checks; physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varied conditions across cultivation, production, and outdoor environments. Salary $18/hour (annualized to $37,440); Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and other coverage. The position is located in St. Johns, FL, and may require compliance with state/local regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Florida State background check
- Previous maintenance, facilities, industrial, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical experience preferred
