Job Summary
Perform maintenance on plant equipment including crushers, conveyors, pumps, and piping in a quarry setting. Work as part of a team to install, assemble, and upgrade machinery as production increases. Conduct routine checks, preventative maintenance, and adjustments on various equipment. Address mechanical failures to safely and effectively minimize equipment downtime. This permanent, full-time day shift role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, with evening, weekend work, and overtime available as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Technical training
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven mechanical skills
- Problem solving skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Experience following preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Ability to interpret manufacturer manuals
- Proficiency in the use of digital tools and platforms
- Ability to evaluate performance
- Ability to leverage tools to retain, engage and develop team members
- Track record of great work performance
- Track record of attendance
- Track record of safety behaviors
- Availability for evening, weekend work
- Availability for overtime
