Job Summary

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to implement effective solutions. Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities on industrial refrigeration equipment, including ammonia systems. Maintain accurate service records documenting repairs and parts usage. Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve efficiency and minimize operational disruptions. Work Monday through Friday with on-call rotation every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance
Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in cold storage environments
Ability to operate tools/equipment safely
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently
Experience with hydraulic systems
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Experience maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks
Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a diverse range of material handling equipment
Experience conducting preventative maintenance
Ability to maintain accurate service records
Ability to follow all safety regulations and company policies
Ability to collaborate with the maintenance team
Experience with ammonia refrigeration equipment
Experience with industrial refrigeration systems
