Job Summary
Schedule and respond to work orders, including follow-ups with residents and management. Ensure preventative maintenance scheduling and performance remain current. Conduct cosmetic and routine maintenance throughout the community, manage unit turnovers for new move-ins, and perform move-in and move-out inspections. Execute quarterly inspections alongside property management. Perform plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and masonry repairs and troubleshooting as needed. Coordinate, schedule, and oversee vendor work with the Property Manager. Maintain on-call availability for off-shift and weekend emergency maintenance coverage. Minimum two years of experience in apartment development maintenance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be able to function in an on-call capacity
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have basic mathematical skills
- Must have computer skills
- Must have fluency in English
- Must have very good time management skills
- Must have minimum 2 years' experience performing maintenance tasks in an apartment development or comparable position
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual skills in English and Cantonese
- Knowledge in REAC and other regulatory inspections
