Maintenance Technician-Mechanical

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and refrigeration systems while performing preventive maintenance. Interpret blueprints, align rotating equipment using laser indicators, and install piping connections. Diagnose equipment failures by analyzing vibration readings and interacting with operations staff and engineers to resolve upsets. Conduct unit walk-throughs, report findings, and maintain equipment history sheets in SAP. This role requires a two-year technical degree in mechanical maintenance or five years of equivalent experience, along with work key certifications and knowledge of predictive maintenance principles. The position is full-time in a plant environment with a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000.
Required Qualifications
- Two year technical degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Maintenance or other maintenance related field
- 5 years' experience in equivalent maintenance experience

- Troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety

- Basic PC skills
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of PSM Mechanical Integrity guidelines
- General knowledge of engineering standards, piping and equipment specifications, and materials of construction
- Basic knowledge of plant processes
- Thorough knowledge of plant equipment
