Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic with a strong mechanical and electrical background, including PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE) to support production equipment at Opal Foods in Roggen, CO. Responsibilities include mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair of conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and reading blueprints/schematics; diagnose issues with sensors, relays, motor controls, and circuits up to 480V; work with PLC systems for troubleshooting (no programming required); perform fabrication and welding as needed; maintain records using Microsoft Office and basic computer applications; comply with safety regulations; weekend/holiday availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical schematics
