Maintenance Technician / Mechanic - Workshop Based - Southampton

Carry out maintenance tasks and servicing on rental vehicles, testing systems to ensure safety and security. Identify and repair or replace worn parts before breakdowns occur, then test drive vehicles where permitted and a valid license is held. Record all work completed on computer systems accurately and submit paperwork to the Workshop Manager or Lead Tech at the end of each shift. Complete jobs fully before the end of your shift or perform job handovers to ensure vehicles are left in a safe condition with necessary signage. This role is part of Enterprise Flex-E-Rent's commercial vehicle rental division, supporting hire customers across the UK and Ireland. The position offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no weekend shifts, competitive pay including overtime at 1.25x, and access to a structured 5-stage training programme leading to Master Technician level.
