Job Summary
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, motors, bearings, and gearboxes. Diagnose and resolve system failures by working with PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE) for troubleshooting only, reading schematics, and utilizing interface tools. Troubleshoot electrical issues up to 480V involving sensors, relays, and motor controls, while performing fabrication and welding as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain records using Microsoft Office. Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in a production environment
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, electrical controls, VFD's, and PLC troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical system failures efficiently
- Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical schematics
Desired Qualifications
- Food manufacturing experience
- Egg industry experience
- Trade/Technical school or Millwright certification
- PLC troubleshooting experience
