Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential properties and related Mayroad assets on military housing installations. Duties span structural, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC diagnostics/maintenance, and environmental upkeep of facilities (e.g., pools, community centers, playgrounds). Must operate in non-climate-controlled, potentially hazardous settings with PPE, perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, and comply with safety and access requirements. Requires 3+ years of residential maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background and drug testing. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of residential maintenance experience (carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC diagnostics/maintenance)
- Current driver's license in good standing
- Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug test
- Familiarity with tools: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, power tools, saws, drills, hammers
- Basic computer/phone skills including timekeeping and training systems
- Real-ID compliant Travel ID (or ability to obtain)
- Own vehicle for on-the-job transportation
