Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Clean and lubricate machinery shafts, bearings, gears, and parts; troubleshoot and repair slitters, collectors, high-speed welders, conveyors, and palletizers. Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment while repairing gauges, valves, and pressure regulators. Perform building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep, and assess electrical issues as they arise. Log labor and parts in the CMMS system according to established expectations. Work with little to no supervision, participate in an on-call program, and be willing to work overtime, weekends, and off-shifts. Adhere strictly to safety policies, PPE requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practice ISO9001 standards while operating near high-speed automated equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years minimum experience as a maintenance mechanic in metal manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice ISO9001 standards for metals manufacturing
- Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and off-shifts as required
- Must participate in on-call program
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree in maintenance-related field
- Experience with and ability to use all types of welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools
- Experience in high-speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission
- PLC experience
