Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection and blow molding machines, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime. Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, and drives, while repairing and replacing components like valves, pumps, and bearings. Complete work orders and documentation accurately, assist with machine startups, shutdowns, and changeovers, and support facility improvement projects. Adhere to OSHA requirements, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and quality systems while maintaining a safe work environment. Requires 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, technical certification, and ability to work overtime or on call.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical certification, trade schooling, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and automated equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Understanding of preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to work around machinery, noise, heat, and manufacturing conditions
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on call as needed
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
