Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role at Marquis at Waterview within CWS, focusing on maintaining the integrity of the community and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include preparing make-ready apartments, completing service requests, performing common area maintenance, participating in preventative maintenance, managing inventory, communicating with residents, investors, vendors, and team members, and adhering to safety and risk-management programs. Requires high school diploma or GED (preferred), 1 year of apartment maintenance experience or related trade knowledge (preferred), EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications (required), valid driver’s license and insurance, and basic tools and English proficiency. Strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and flexible scheduling including weekends and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in apartment maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC (preferred)
- Applicable certifications including but not limited to EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO (required)
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance (required)
- Own basic set of hand tools (required)
- Able to read service requests, schedules, and regularly converse with team members, residents, and vendors in English
