Maintenance Technician, Manufacturing 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Conduct, develop, and maintain records for installation, removal, and troubleshooting of pumps, piping, valves, pneumatic systems, and motor starters. Diagnose and correct equipment issues through inspections and testing while executing preventative, calibration, and predictive maintenance schedules. Respond to reactive and corrective maintenance requests using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring tools, and electronic test gear. Assist in system development, improvement, and design by developing or interpreting drawings of existing systems. Work as a part of a maintenance team to accomplish maximum equipment uptime while utilizing Process Safety Management for hazardous environments. Help direct contractors to execute other scheduled work and perform quality work within guidelines, deadlines, and processes with or without direct supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Tradesman or equivalent experience
  • prefer an associate degree within a STEM related field
  • maintenance experience
  • Critical thinking (troubleshooting) experience
  • Ability to Develop and read various P&ID types
  • Knowledge of Mechanical and Piping Systems
  • Knowledge of Electrical Devices
  • Knowledge of Test Equipment
  • Familiarity with CMMS
  • Familiarity with Predictive Maintenance Techniques
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement Programs
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis
  • Good computer skills
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office products
