Job Summary
Diagnose defects and perform repairs on buildings, grounds, and amenities while adhering to safety standards and code requirements. Complete assigned work orders, manage inventory for tools and supplies, and execute preventative maintenance schedules. Conduct morning inspections of common areas to detect issues and participate in after-hour emergency coverage rotations. Represent the company professionally during resident interactions and assist management in developing efficient maintenance methods. Requires 1+ years of experience in manufactured housing or multi-family communities, plumbing knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician at a manufactured or multi-family apartment community of 100+ units
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and collaborate effectively with team members
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with plumbing, sewer, irrigation, and general construction
- Knowledge of landscaping tools, techniques, and seasonal maintenance practices
- Superior customer service, attention to detail, and time management skill
- Dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a faced paced team-oriented environment
- A positive attitude and a team player
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must possess knowledge and skills in the safe use and maintenance of power tools and mechanical equipment
- Must be able to participate in after-hour and emergency coverage rotation schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- Irrigation repair and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with and comfortable with operating a chainsaw to cut and remove large tree limbs and debris that fall on to property
