Job Summary
Perform in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and prepare apartments for new resident occupancy. Complete work orders covering light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance. Provide access to and supervise contractors as needed. Perform groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas. Update the Yardi mobile app and communicate with the team regarding ongoing project status. This full-time role in Downtown Boston, MA, includes 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday hours with on-call duties shared on rotation. Join a team of maintenance professionals supporting a newly constructed affordable housing property with 126 units.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Experience with appliance repair
- Experience with general building maintenance
- Ability to perform in-unit repairs
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance
- Ability to prepare apartments for new resident occupancy
- Ability to complete work orders
- Ability to perform groundskeeping

- Ability to update the Yardi mobile app
